Logicbase Celebrates Paskong Pinoy
Christmas is the season of love which is shown by sharing opportunities, concern, affection or even simple things. But nothing beats a Christmas with the presence of the significant people who painted colors in each of our lives.
Last Wednesday, December 14, Logicbase celebrated another successful year in Elarvee, Upper Macasandig Cagayan de Oro City. It was themed as “Paskong Pinoy” which gave another twist for the employees since it is unusual for this generation to wear traditional clothes like “barong at saya”. But the challenge was accepted positively, when in fact millennials dominated the company.
Arriving at the venue, we noticed the transformation of all our ladies and the “gentlenerds”. The ladies wore their beautiful dresses, filipinianas, baro’t saya while looking stunning as they walked down the aisle going to their respective tables. The men followed wearing barong, kamisa de tsino and formal outfits as they looked as their noblest self.

The night was hosted by the former Miss Cagayan de Oro- the lovely Angel Carbajal who wore black and white long sleeved dress.

The party was started with a message from the President of Logicbase Bryan Joseph King.
The night went well, as we played games that ignited the fun side of LBI employees which made everyone laugh the night away. There was also raffle draws with several prizes such as grocery items, gift certificates, wines, gadgets and the most awaited- two flat screen tvs. Special awards were then given to the employees who stood out in the different categories of their work.
After all the festivities, the most “important” part of the evening came- the FOOD. Which consisted of paskong pinoy meals with the amazing taste of lechon and other filipino dishes. Everyone enjoyed the food while chitchatting and reminiscing their time as employees until their improvement to the best version of themselves, sharing their most unforgettable experiences with the company.
To showcase the amazing voices and various talents of the employees, a Caroling Contest was conducted against six groups, who presented different approaches. Some employees had their intermission numbers, and some sung their hearts out melting the audience’s hearts. Indeed, Logicbase staff have so much to show, whether in work or their hidden talents.
The night was concluded with the exchanging of gifts (with a twist) that made everyone happy not only by receiving the presents but by giving it as well. A picture taking was then coordinated to encase the memories of that night forever.
Let’s be reminded about the true essence of celebrating this season, the birth of our Savior- Jesus Christ. Let love reign in our hearts. Merry Christmas and have a prosperous New Year higalas!
